Hexo Blog for Lostar
Built a free personal blog for a young writer who loved storytelling. Developed from the ParticleX theme with custom CDN, falling stars effect, and Discord bot integration for publishing.
About the Project
The Story
I noticed a young girl who wrote wonderful stories, but she didn't have a personal blog to publish them. She wrote everything on Facebook or on paper, easily lost, easily corrupted. I found her stories genuinely interesting, so I offered to build her a free blog.
I developed this blog from an existing theme called ParticleX. The theme didn't have the features I wanted, like a falling stars effect, and its CDN primarily served the Chinese market. This blog is compatible with the Hexo theme Lostar.
The Real Goal
My real goal in doing this for free was to train my patience. I wanted to see how patient I could truly be.
Sometimes the girl would call me "harsh," but I kept thinking about why I started this project in the first place.
Current State
Everything now runs smoothly. I also integrated OpenClaw so she can customize certain fields on her own. The entire blog is written via Discord, with a dedicated bot system for publishing and customization.
