About the Project
What is AEO?
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is next-gen SEO, optimizing content to appear in answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other LLMs. Instead of just ranking on Google, AEO helps content get cited directly by AI.
Role
I manage the Backend API and AI API systems of the AEO platform at EON Tech. Responsibilities include:
- Deploying on-premise infrastructure from company workstation, building internal hosting for aeo.eonsr.com
- Managing and optimizing the API system, designing operation flows
- Cost optimization: reducing API costs through architecture optimization and caching
- System monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Designing and developing new platform features
Achievement
Built an API system that saved the company $14,000 (equivalent to 2.1 million yen) as of March 1st, 2026. The system reduces API costs by ¥30,000 per day. This achievement was recognized by management with a bonus just 2 weeks after joining.
